How is a Desktop Assessment completed?
- Once we receive your rebuild cost assessment order, it is allocated to a team assessor to complete the data gathering and measurements of your property needed for the report.
- This may include gathering information from the Tax Valuation Office, Zoopla and Local Planning Authority to get site plans, floor plans and listed property details.
- We will then use a variety of online tools to collate the measurements of the property including Google Maps and the detailed floor plans available.
- Once the assessment is quality controlled, the report is produced by the certified RICS surveyor and then sent across to the customer.
